The Enrich Response to COVID-19

Last Update: April 2, 2020

At Enrich, we have always strived to help those we serve become and stay financially well.

Within days of the COVID-19 hitting the U.S., we realized the significant impact this pandemic would have on our users, clients, employees, and community.

That is why we have assembled a comprehensive COVID-19 response to help people understand what to do about personal finances, career choices, and/or education, both during and after COVID-19.

Whether you are looking for news, answers to commonly asked questions, tips, or advice, the new Enrich COVID-19 resource hub, Coronavirus and Your Financial Health, is there to assist you with newly crafted content; relevant tools, calculators, courses; and critical government resources.

And, because we understand the gravity of this situation, we are providing this for free to employers to offer to their employees until July 1st, 2020.

Designing COVID-19 Resources for Financial Wellness

To help our current Enrich clients and users, as well as our broader community, we have created a personalized financial wellness resource, Coronavirus and Your Financial Health, with a special focus on staying financially healthy during the COVID-19 pandemic.

It works great on a desktop, tablet, or mobile device. From education to jobs to retirement funds, Enrich has created and linked to 40+ pieces of content to help employees.

Our goal is to help our users succeed with personal finance during the troubling COVID-19 pandemic by providing access to dozens of specifically focused resources.

The hub features 40+ resources that are conveniently split into eight sections that deal with specific financial issues affected by COVID-19:

  • Personal Finances
  • Investments and Retirement
  • Education
  • Career
  • Future Plans
  • Society and Economy
  • Keeping Calm
  • We’re in This Together

Serving Our Community

During challenging times such as these, making healthy financial decisions is of the utmost importance, which is why we at Enrich are here to lend a hand.

Our team is helping employers that do not currently have a financial wellness program, by providing financial wellness and our COVID-19 resource, Coronavirus and Your Financial Health, for free until July 1st, 2020. This free resource is available at: covid19.enrich.org.

We are offering a sample of resources on our financial wellness platform for free that employees can access immediately.

Each resource has been selected based on specific challenges employees may be facing during the COVID-19 pandemic. Features include:

  • Welcome video
  • Daily updates
  • Optional email updates as the COVID-19 hub is updated
  • Answers, tips, and advice for staying financially well
  • Financial Wellness Checkup: Personalized financial health and stress assessment with course, tool, and content recommendations
  • Your Money Personality behavioral analysis: How personality affects financial decision making is relevant now more than ever
  • Topics: Access to thousands of articles, videos, and infographics on personal finance topics
  • Courses: 10 courses specially chosen because of their relevance during COVID-19
  • Tools: Select tools available, including our budget worksheet and retirement analyzer

The easiest way for employees to get started is by taking the holistic Financial Wellness Checkup.

Our unique algorithm combined with artificial intelligence (AI) will recommend relevant COVID-19 resources, as well as other content, courses, and tools based on individual situations.

Finally, we are working on a marketplace to help employees as interest rates decrease and/or financial stress increases.

This marketplace will allow employees to compare rates on refinancing, debt consolidation, and other financial products.

This is a time where we need to work together and we hope that these resources will help relieve employee stress and keep them on track towards financial success.

If you have any questions about using this free resource or other services which may be helpful for your employees, please email us at busdev@enrich.org.

Empowering Our Clients & Their Employees

The dedicated COVID-19 hub, Coronavirus and Your Financial Health, is now active within all our partner platforms and is fully ADA, GDPR, and CCPA compliant.

The hub is easily accessible from the primary site navigation and will make it easy for our clients to promote the new content and resources to their employees.

The hub is fully co-branded, available via vanity subdomain, and fully integrated with our partners’ current access points, such as single sign-on.

There are also several configuration options available with regard to how the hub is promoted on the platform.

Enrich is also providing specific marketing materials to our clients for promoting the COVID-19 resources that include:

  • Social media image set
  • Social media blurbs for the hub and the content on the hub
  • Web banners
  • Flyer (ideal as an attachment to email communications)
  • Email templates for campaigns to a not-yet-registered target population

Our Client Success team is sending regular email updates to all clients with the latest enhancements to our COVID-19 resources, as well as strategies for engaging and supporting employees during the ongoing pandemic.

After August 1, 2010, all of our clients can request a consultation that includes an analysis of their employees’ financial wellness and how we can better serve them going forward.

Clients can send a request for this consultation to partnerrequests@enrich.org.

Additionally, we are working to ensure that all aspects of our services will remain intact and at full capacity, including the SaaS platforms, Financial Wellness Center CPFC staff, Client Success team, technical support, product and content development, and all other departments that work behind the scenes to support our clients and their employees.

We realize that some Enrich team members are scheduled to attend events or visit educational institutions in the upcoming months.

We will continue to evaluate each event on a case-by-case basis.

Anyone affected by alterations in these plans will be notified.

Our Client Success team is standing by via regular communication channels to support our clients in any way possible during this time, and listening to your feedback on ways we can continue to enhance the COVID-19 resources that are now available for your employees.

Caring for Our Employees

Even before COVID-19, a majority of Enrich staff was equipped to work remotely at full capacity.

In addition to continuing to support these staff with the ability to access necessary systems and resources to perform their duties, we prepared the remainder of our staff to work remotely for an extended period as the pandemic warrants.

To date, we are up and running from home with no decline in productivity.

In addition, we are extending the following benefits to our employees:

  • Telehealth – 24/7 access to board-certified, state-licensed doctors by phone or video
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Resource to employees and families to help with mental health issues and stress, marital concerns, struggles adapting to working from home, substance abuse, emotional abuse, and financial stress
  • Extended open enrollment deadline

Enrich is committed to helping everyone get through this trying time and coming out the other side with the right information and tools to become and remain financially healthy.
